focus and is delusional. Humankind’s creations have not
always been constructive and all too often destructive. A
powerful blast can remove a boulder but often the powerful
blast is a bomb used to destroy property and always life.
This brings us back to the purpose of this discussion.
Imagination is a wonderful tool when employed for creative
purposes. Most often imagination is prevalent only in
idleness. You have a saying, “the devil makes work for idle
hands”, and indeed it does. In distress imagination can be
employed destructively or creatively. In the former
(destructive) it is the consequence of the lack of hope and in
the latter (creative) it is the product of having hope. We must
remember that we never have a problem that is greater than
our ability to resolve it, and there then is hope. To know that
God is ever present in our lives, to assist us in our endeavours,
will help us have confidence in our ability to over come all
obstacles. Humankind has suffered suppression from a few
over many generations. I do not speak of recent history but of
the distant past. Even before history was recorded there was
competition. Even before religion was invented there was
competition. Every culture that has ever existed always had a
recognition of God, of The Spirit, and eventually the conflict
began, the competition between the ways of humankind and
the nature of God. Humankind began to loose it's awareness
of the importance of God and how the nature of the human
being is imbedded in God. The human became God in its own
eyes. As “God” humankind assumed command of each other.
