For success, a business must differentiate itself from its competition for competitive advantage. This is old advice but the software you use to run your business is one weapon you may not have considered. When used effectively, software can have a profound impact on all aspects of your business. It can even be your primary competitive advantage. It can be used to lower costs, increase customer services and increase business opportunities.
To really unlock its potential, however, software must be visualized using this very non-standard "Rubber Room” thought process. After all, your competitors have software too, and they are certainly trying to do all the traditional things with it to aid in running their business.
Technology advances at a rapid pace. Many things are possible today that were not effectively doable even a few months ago.
