There have been many programming languages and tools for developing software created over the history of computers. From the original machine languages of the early years to languages such as Java, Visual Basic, and C# today, each had its purpose and reasons for existence. When it comes to creating business solutions quickly, reliably, and without risk, something much more powerful than a programming language is required. We need a tool that allows the developer to quickly express the software solution in terms of your business.
Programming languages, no matter which one you choose, are much too close to the computer to be productive. They require translating business requirements into some logical procedure or structuring the requirements into some form of object methodology. This is very tedious, labor intensive, error prone and requires pre-existing written documentation of the process being automated.
