This was the front entrance to the For-
est Grove store in 1945.

Archer White raking hay with a team of horses. We later
purchased a tractor.

Bob Parkin was an electrician by trade so this must have
been a new experience for him. Madelene Parkin was a city girl
but adapted quickly to outside

This shows the remains of the old kitchen on the back of the
lodge.
