The Isabela State University, in order to cope up
                                                                 with the recent developments and rapidly changing
                                                                 landscape  in  the  Philippines  and  ASEAN  region.
                                                                 R&D  arena  in  recent  years,  need  to  update  its
                                                                 policies to be competitive and be at par with other
                                                                 HEIs in the country and the region.  For the said
                                                                 purposes,  the  existing  ISU  Research  and
                                                                 Development Manual of Operations was updated
                                                                 and revised.  Included and integrated in appropriate
                                                                 sections  are  general  policies  and  guidelines  on
                                                                 strengthening  Research,  Instruction,  Production
                                                                 and  Extension  (RIPE),  this  was  approved  during
                                                                 the URDET Council meeting on August 4 2017 and
                                                                 at the BOR Committee Consultative Meeting held
                                                                 on September 8, 2017.













            Another  revision  on  RDET  policies  and
            guidelines (Incentives) was presented to
            the  BOR  for  approval,  and  the  said

            revision on the  Manual of Operation for

            Research       and     Development         was
            accepted and approved by the Board of
            regents  during  the  222th  and  223th

            Virtual Board Meeting held on December
            11, 2020.
