“I Dance Because I Can”
Amelia is a 12-year old girl suffering from Rheumatoid Arthritis. She didn’t walk until she was 4 due to complications. She confided in me that she always wanted to be a dancer but knew that she never would because of her disease.
I hired a professional dancer to give her lessons and took pictures of her dancing. We worked on painting a picture of her dancing together.
