John Muir
John Muir liked to walk
in the woods and fields. He
loved to learn about plants
and anim als.
Yosemite Valley was one ^
of John’s favorite places. He wrote
articles telling people that it should be a
national park. In 1890 John’s dream came
true. One day you might visit Yosemite
National Park in California.
