Making and testing an anemometer

An anemometer tells you how strong the wind is

blowing. This is the wind speed.

The cups of the anemometer spin around fast in a strong wind.

1 Design and make an anemometer.

                 Test that your anemometer spins.

You can blow on it or use a hair drier to test it.

2 Take your anemometer outside and measure

                  the speed of the wind.
