SIMPLE PRESENT TENSE  SENTENCE PATTERN



          (POLA KALIMAT SIMPLE PRESENT TENSE)




                                             Positive Form

                           S + V1(s/es) + O + Adverb (Verbal)

                            S + Be (are, am. is) + O (Nominal)

     Examples
     1. Andi always walks to school every day

     2. The cat always goes every night.

     3. Tomo’s sister is smart.

     4. They are my cousins.



                                           Negative Form :

                  S + do/does + not + V1 + O + Adverb (Verbal)

                       S + Be (are, am. is) + not + O (Nominal)
     Examples

     1. Andi doesn’t get on a car every day

     2. The cat doesn’t go  every night.

     3. Tomo’s sister isn’t  smart.

     4. They are not my cousins.





                                      Interrogative Form :

                     Do/Does + S + V1 + O + Adverb (Verbal)
                           Be (are, am. is) + S + O (Nominal)

     Examples

     1. Does Andi go to school by bus every day?

     2. Does the cat go away every night?

     3. Is Tomo’s sister smart?
     4. Are they my cousins?
