Outdoor Adventure
A club for Upper School boys who enjoy the outdoors, nature, exploring and would also like to learn basic bushcraft skills including making a camp, building shelters, fire skills and using tools. It is run on and off-site and operates during the Summer term.
Lower School Puzzle Club
The boys have access to a number of puzzles and games that will use their Maths and English skills but primarily to think logically and perhaps even ‘outside the box’. Many come from the Happy Puzzle Company and a current firm favourite is Murder Mystery Mansion: a type of Cluedo where the boys need to use their powers of deduction to work out the suspect, location, method and motive. The aim of this club is to develop thinking skills and social skills as the boys learn how to play games with each other. Boys are encouraged to explain their choices and learn from their mistakes as they find another way to solve the puzzle.
Street Dance
Once confident, the boys choreograph their own dances, and this skill is then utilised during their Drama lessons in school. From simple rhythmical steps to complex and flashmob extravaganzas the boys work with smiles! This is a popular club!
Warwick Wildlife Club
From learning about simple habitats and the life forms found in them to more ecological matters involving understanding man’s influence on the world and how diversity is affected. The boys visit areas on site as well as tending their wildlife area to learn and act. On occasions vistors address the group and pass on experience.
