▪ Low-pressure gauge displays the pressure of the fuel on the way to the engine
▪ Pressure sensor communicates pressure to engine control module
Low-Pressure Fuel ▪ Carry gas from the regulator to the fuel rail (LD) or engine (HD)
Lines ▪ Can be made of rigid or flexible materials
o Depends on manufacturer’s choice
o Can be both materials on the same vehicle
Low-Pressure ▪ Filters liquids and aerosols from gas
Coalescing Filter o Oil
o Water
▪ Also filters particulates
▪ Can be manually drained
