High-Pressure ▪ Removes liquid or aerosol
Coalescing Filter o Oil or water
▪ Remove particulates from gas
▪ CAUTION: The high-pressure coalescing filter is ALWAYS
under high pressure.
▪ Follow manufacturer’s procedures for maintenance

High-Pressure ▪ High-pressure gauge displays pressure in the
Gauge and high-pressure fuel system
Transducer

▪ Transducer communicates
pressure to fuel control module
and fuel gauge

Pressure Regulator ▪ Both high and low pressure are in one device
▪ Reduces high pressure to engine operating pressure
▪ Most use engine coolant to heat
▪ Freeze-up causes driveability issues
