1. Close the liquid supply and return valves on the tank to be drained 7. Connect tank evacuation adaptor to tank filler valve
2. Depressurize fuel lines 8. Open liquid supply valve slowly
3. Connect service evacuation hose (from service tool kit) to liquid 9. Using a fuel pump jumper relay (from service tool kit) energize the
supply valve fuel pump
4. Remove fuel pump solenoid plunger assembly 10. When tank is empty, disconnect jumper relay and close valve, any
remaining fuel will have to be flared to atmosphere
5. Connect service evacuation hose to liquid evacuation adaptor
11. Reassemble the system
6. Remove fuel fill cap

1. Turn off vapor return valve and liquid service valve and 5. Ensure ball valve on flare stack is in off position
