Desa Devisa Kupang Seaweed is located in
Sidoarjo Regency with seaweed as its superior
commodity. The program provides training
and assistance to more than 80 seaweed
farmers from a local group of seaweed
cultivation.

This program is a collaboration between
Government, and Directorate General of
Indonesia Eximbank, Sidoarjo Regency
Customs and Excise (DJBC) with Koperasi
Sumber Mulyo 578 (Sumber Mulyo 578
Cooperative Group). Its main objective to
produce export-oriented quality seaweed for
Japan and China.
