THE GROUND UP Carhartt safety shoes are of the protection class S3; offering stability, comfort, and lightweight flexibility
to all craftsmen. In compliance with the requirements of the EU standard, EN ISO 20345:2012, the S3 shoe
offers a fiber glass toe cap that protect against falling objects and the indentation resistance is at least 200
Joules. The S3 shoe also has antistatic properties, increased resistance of water, non-slip Vibram® sole, and
anti-perforation that protects the soles of the feet from sharp objects.

Carhartt Safety shoes of the protection class S1P; offer stability, comfort, breathability and lightweight
flexibility to all craftsmen who work indoors or with no risk of water sprays. In compliance with the
requirements of EU standards, EN ISO 20345:2012, the S1P shoe offers a fiber glass toe cap that protect
against falling objects and the indentation resistance is at least 200 Joules. The S1P shoe also has antistatic
properties and anti-static perforation that protects the soles of the feet from sharp objects.
