First, you need to be passionate about what you're doing. Only by being fully committed to your craft can you hope to succeed. Second, you need to be willing to work hard. Building a successful business takes time, energy, and dedication. And lastly, you need to be able to market yourself and your business. You need to let people know what you're offering and why they should choose you over the competition. If you can do all of these things, then you'll be well on your way to turning your talent into a successful business.
If you"d rather get out and get involved, then catering, baking specialty cakes, playing in a band, making furniture, being a tour guide, becoming a stand-up comedian or joining a theatre or improv group could set you on a new track.
