By sharing our experiences and ideas, we are able to empathize with others and form deeper connections with them. Like Casilda and Paul with their Vale de Lavanda. Like Frankie, bringing nations together in New York. Like Nicko with his books and speeches to help people bring out the best in each other. Like Lara who proves to us every day, the only limits we have are the ones we put on ourselves. And like me, halfway up a hillside in China trying to figure out what makes the world go around.”
Thomas chuckled and shrugged. “And you know what I figured out after all this wandering and wondering? If your life isn’t a fairy tale filled with magic moments, you can always change the ending.”
“I’ll drink to that,” Lara said. “Paul. More bubbly.”
We had a group hug.
“To magic moments,” said Frankie raising her glass..
“And the survival of the friendliest,” I said with my arms around Thomas and Casilda.
