Remove. Prune. Plant. ‘I’ve seen you studying the Arborists’ Guide over there a few times when you weren’t busy,’ he says. I tell him my plan. ‘But you need six thousand hours hands-on to get a license. You know that, right? I can use someone who works like you to run my office. I’ll train you.’”
Today Morgan and Wyatt have a four-year-old daughter and a busy year-round business. Morgan recently spearheaded a service to provide farms and tree nurseries with their leftover wood chips to improve the soil quality around the roots of new trees and help them retain moisture.
Find Forgiveness
It’s tough to be yourself in the future if you can't forgive what happened in the past. Holding on to grudges and resentments only serves to shackle us, preventing us from taking hold of the reins of our own destiny. It is only when we release the clutches of the past that we can unfurl the sails of our future.
Before embarking on the next chapter, consider the power of forgiveness. Extend a hand of absolution to those who have wounded you, and in doing so, unshackle yourself from the chains of resentment and bitterness. I won't pretend it's an easy task, for forgiveness requires strength.
