the Sportsplex being sold and operated as the Real School, was also an adjustment to our budget. We all
came together to approve the budget without any services cut to our residents. It is important to note that
we still have a 13.5% decrease from the 2016 village tax levy.

As we move forward into 2018, my goals and wish list is:

    1) Keeping our budgets balanced
    2) Working for further development
    3) Continuing our road rehab program
    4) Working with DOT to accelerate the signal light for Willow Road South
    5) Getting the festive/welcome decorations back in our Village ( Hwy 11, Wisconsin Street, and 90th)
    6) Looking at adding additional Officers in the near future
    7) South Park tennis court finished
    8) Continuing to work to get yards cleaned up that are eye sores in the Village

In closing, this Village truly has come a long way. We have worked through the years of having no
excess funds for projects. We are finally investing in our Parks, updating our IT, DPW has a new
building that contains all their equipment, added events to our community to help bring them together,
and upgrades to our Village Hall. Our Board may have a lot of fresh blood and, but you can feel the
energy at every meeting. Sometimes that is needed to keep all of us energized and bring out the best
in the end. I enjoy working with every single one you. Thanks for your patience and support, as I
continue to learn my new role and responsibilities as President. Let us continue the hard work and
make 2018 the best year yet.

                                             Respectfully,

                                    Jayme Hoffman, Village President
