RESOLUTION BY THE PARKS, EVENT PLANNING, AND VILLAGE
BEAUTIFICATION COMMITTEE AUTHORIZING THE USE OF VILLAGE
STREETS FOR THE MEMORIAL DAY PARADE ON MAY 26, 2018 AS A

VILLAGE SPONSORED EVENT

WHEREAS, the Village Board would like to authorize the Memorial Day
Parade as a village sponsored event; and

WHEREAS, the Village Board would like to authorize the use of village
streets for the 2018 Memorial Day Parade on May 26, 2018.

NOW THEREFORE, the Village Board of the Village of Sturtevant, Racine
County, Wisconsin does hereby resolve:

1. That the use of the village streets as set forth in Exhibit A which
is attached hereto and incorporated herein for the Memorial Day
Parade on May 26, 2018 is authorized and approved.

2. That the Police Chief is authorized to establish any road
closures or lane closures that they deem as necessary for safety
during the parade.

3. That the event shall be a Village sponsored event and the Police
Chief is authorized to assist in the implementation of the parade
route.

Adopted by the Village Board of the Village of Sturtevant, Racine
County, Wisconsin, this 6th day of February, 2018.
