RESOLUTION BY THE PUBLIC SAFETY & HEALTH AND PROPERTY &
GROUNDS COMMITTEE AUTHORIZING ENTERING INTO A CONTRACT WITH
LEXISNEXIS CLAIMS SOLUTIONS, INC. FOR THE DISTRIBUTION OF ACCIDENT

CRASH REPORTS FOR THE STURTEVANT POLICE DEPARTMENT

WHEREAS, LexisNexis Claims Solutions, Inc. currently requests accident crash
reports from the Sturtevant Police Department via mail; and

WHEREAS, the LexisNexis Claims Solutions, Inc. provides web based portal that
allows for the reports to be submitted electronically; and

WHEREAS, LexisNexis Claims Solutions, Inc. has committed to pay Sturtevant for all
accident crash reports that are submitted to LexisNexis Solutions, Inc.; and

WHEREAS, the software would help allow for more efficiencies by submitting the
accident crash reports online; and

WHEREAS, the Village Board is satisfied with the proposal submitted by LexisNexis
Solutions, Inc.

NOW THEREFORE, the Village Board of the Village of Sturtevant, Racine County,
Wisconsin does hereby resolve:

1. That the execution of an agreement with LexisNexis Claims Solutions as set
forth in Exhibit A which is attached hereto and incorporated herein is
authorized and approved.

2. There is no cost to the Village of Sturtevant.
3. LexisNexis Claims Solutions, Inc. will pay a fee in the amount of $5.00 per

request to the Village of Sturtevant.
4. The Village President and the Village Clerk are authorized to sign any

agreements or other documents necessary to carry out the intent of this
resolution.

Adopted by the Village Board of the Village of Sturtevant, Racine County,
Wisconsin, this 6th day of March, 2018.
