RESOLUTION BY THE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AND REDEVELOPMENT
COMMITTEE AUTHORIZING AN AMENDEMENT TO THE OFFER TO
PURCHASE FOR VILLAGE OWNED PROPERTY AT 10201 EAST
EXPLORATION COURT

WHEREAS, The Village of Sturtevant authorized the sale of village owned
property, located at 10201 East Exploration Court;, to Gifted Hands Hobby
House, LLC. Per Resolution 2017-82; and

WHEREAS, Gifted Hands Hobby, LLC is requesting an extension to the
original proposed closing date; and

WHEREAS, the Community Development Authority has voted to make
the recommendation to the Village Board an amendment to the Offer to
Purchase, extending the closing date to June 29, 2018; and

WHEREAS, the Village Board would like to authorize an amendment to
the Offer to Purchase to extend the closing date to June 29, 2018.

NOW THEREFORE, the Village Board of the Village of Sturtevant, Racine
County, Wisconsin does hereby resolve that:

1. The amendment to the Offer to Purchase, as approved in Resolution
2017-82, is authorized and approved provided the following:

A. That all costs associated with the sales transaction (with the
exception of time of Village of Sturtevant staff or consultants)
will be paid by the buyer.

B. The closing shall take place no later than June 29, 2018.

2. That the Village President and the Village Clerk are authorized
to execute deeds, contracts, agreements or other documents
necessary to carry out the intent of this resolution.

3. The funds received from the transaction shall be added to the
General Fund Balance (Fund 101).

Adopted by the Village Board of the Village of Sturtevant, Racine
County, Wisconsin, this 20th day of March, 2018.
