RESOLUTION BY THE ADMINISTRATION, PERSONNEL, POLICY AND
LEGAL COMMITTEE AUTHORIZING THE RENEWAL OF A CONTRACT WITH
THE VILLAGE OF MT. PLEASANT IN REGARD TO BUILDING INSPECTION

SERVICES FOR 2018

WHEREAS, the Village of Sturtevant and the Village of Mt. Pleasant have
both seen a decrease in construction activity due to the economic recession and
this decrease is expected to continue in 2018; and

WHEREAS, it would be in the best interests of both villages to continue to
share the costs of building inspectors during 2018.

NOW THEREFORE, the Village Board of the Village of Sturtevant, Racine
County, Wisconsin does hereby resolve:

1. That the execution of a contract renewal with the Village of Mt.
Pleasant, for building inspection services for 2018 as set forth in
Exhibit A which is attached hereto and incorporated herein is
authorized and approved.

2. That the Village President and the Village Clerk are authorized
to sign any agreements or other documents necessary to carry
out the intent of this resolution.

Adopted by the Village Board of the Village of Sturtevant, Racine
County, Wisconsin, this 16th day of January, 2018.
