“name and shame” counterfeit gear.

But the road ahead is long.
     Until certified motorcycle gear
     becomes both affordable and
     enforceable, the black market for
     illegal products will continue to
thrive—and riders will continue to pay
     the price with their lives.

     Doesn't Take a Holiday

Every time a South African rider hits
the road with a counterfeit helmet or
     substandard jacket, they're making a
bet against fate—a bet with far worse
odds than they might realize. The
     systemic forces that allow these
     products to proliferate may seem
     insurmountable. But change starts
     with awareness. And awareness leads
     to action.
Because in the end, it's not just about
     helmets, jackets, or gloves—it's about
valuing human life. And that should
never be up for sale. LHR
