Monica Caccese
Child Accounting Specialist, Technology Services
Monica Caccese was the PIMS/Child
Accounting Specialist for 39 years, starting
her career with MCIU in November of 1982.
Throughout her tremendous career, she
saw the organization grow and evolve into what it is today. She worked at every IU Office location and also worked in various MCIU Offices ending her career with the Office of Technology Services.
Throughout Monica’s career, she became a leader for both the Data Team and IU as a whole. The team relied on her experience and expertise daily as she upheld the organization’s Child Accounting practices to the highest standards, never missed a PIMS deadline, and always triple-checked her data for accuracy. Additionally, she became PDE’s “go-to” resource for everything Child Accounting, including gathering her feedback first
before rolling out any statewide changes due to her in-depth knowledge.
One of Monica’s passions is traveling, and in particular, scuba diving. When she would travel, she would bring back great stories about her scuba-diving adventures, which always made the team smile.
Monica’s sense of humor, compassion, and team spirit will truly be missed. We wish her nothing but the best in her retirement and look forward to hearing about her new adventures!
