 recognizes his kind and giving heart and his willingness to help. Keith has been instrumental in supporting the growth of MCIU programs through dedicated efforts with several construction projects, especially his significant role in the Early Learning Academy project in 2020. Additionally, Keith was promoted to the Supervisor of Facilities position just days before the COVID-19 pandemic closure. Keith led his team to learn new COVID-19 cleaning protocols, facilities adjustments, and who could forget the vaccination clinic efforts!
We obtained some comments from Keith’s co-workers and they are as follows:
1. Keith is a super kind guy and would help you do anything; he
will be deeply missed.
2. Keith was Instrumental in my transition into this new job at
the MCIU. Very Helpful!
3. He is a hardworking, caring individual who would give you the
shirt off his back.
4. Keith changed the values of the MCIU Facilities Department
for the benefit of the children.

Gail Kennedy
Director, Technology Services
Gail Kennedy joined the MCIU as Director
of Technology in January of 2007, replacing
longtime Technology Director Holly
Jobe. She began her education career
in 1996 as an Education Technology
Specialist at Chester County IU. Gail has
seen tremendous change in her work
responsibilities during her time at MCIU, from taking the county lead on VCR repairs to consulting on cybersecurity services. Gail was adept at developing entrepreneurial services that benefit our districts and schools across the state, including software consortia, vendor partnerships and technology audits, among others. She worked hard to build an expert team in the
