            Heather Bradley-Mueller
Hearing Support Teacher, Student Services
Heather Bradley-Mueller is a highly
esteemed hearing support teacher who
dedicated 36 years of service in education.
She is a proud Penn State alum who began
her career as a special education teacher
before taking a position at the Pennsylvania School for the
Deaf. A few years later, she joined MCIU where she has devoted 31 years in our Hearing Support Program. At the MCIU, Heather served in a variety of roles in the Hearing Support Program including the elementary classroom teacher, itinerant teacher, and most recently a valued member of the newly formed Deaf- blind Resource Team. Heather is a reliable and trusted go-to team member in the Hearing Program. She was an innate leader who consistently supported her colleagues, students, and
their families. Heather’s caring and gentle approach fostered trust and mutually respectful relationships with her students. Heather has an active life outside of school. She has spent many of her spring breaks and summers traveling the world with her husband, Scott. She also has a love music and has attended a wide variety of concerts and shows. We wish her a long, fulfilling retirement with many more worldly adventures!
John Mould
Detention Center Teacher, Student Services
John Mould has dedicated his life to
working with students facing significant
challenges. He began with the MCIU in 1994
as a teaching assistant in the emotional
support program. He quickly shifted
into a teacher role in various classrooms
including Emotional Support, Autistic Support and Multiple Disabilities Support. In 2017, his path led him to the Montgomery County Youth Center. John has a teaching style that is hard to describe and even harder to replicate.
