making everyone feel important, treating them with respect and value, and truly caring about their well-being. He always started his lessons by greeting the students and asking if anyone has anything weighing them down. By addressing these items first, it allowed him to better instruct the students with open minds. The teachers at MCYC want to express to John our sincerest congratulations on your retirement, formally as the state, county, and MCIU are concerned. We know that in his heart and actions, that he will continue to be an educator and mentor to the local community each and every single day. We consider ourselves lucky to have witnessed the skills he possesses and shares. The lessons we have seen have made great impressions on all of
us. The resource of experience and knowledge that John Mould possesses will be hard to replace and certainly not replicated. The style, delivery, and method John Mould communicates, observes, and interacts with students, is one an educator only hopes to embody, from dedicated time, daily practice, and earnest reflection. He will be missed by all (teachers, students, & staff) of us!
