I shoot using the professional “RAW” format which captures signifi-
cantly more data than the standard snapshot format. I love the ability
this affords me to recover shadows and highlights in post-
processing. I use Lightroom and Photoshop to process the RAW
images - allowing me to make many adjustments such as exposure,
color saturation, perspective, cropping...

Best camera settings for bird portraits - currently - Aperture Priority
- f8. ISO 400-500...

Or it might be - Shutter Priority - Speed 1/2000sec. ISO 400...
