Happy New Year!
New Year’s resolutions anyone? Start the year off with checking out the Retreat Library! Not that I’ve counted but this space holds about 1,200
titles. (Surely, you’ve not read them all.) Won’t you select a few to try this month? Reading offers a feeling of getting away and unwinding, to
learn something new or a chance to read/hear a different perspective.

I’m not Lewis or Clark but when I walk, I sometimes enjoy listening to audio books. The Retreat Library is not able to provide audio books, but
Roseville Public Library has three platforms of inventory to select from. Library cards are free, downloads are simple, and listening is considered
reading too. What am I listening to right now? Leonardo da Vinci by Walter Isaacson. I’ve enjoyed this fifteen-hour book but will check the
book out too for viewing Leonardo’s sketches and paintings.

                                                                            th
