Dick Holt ~ I built, in my garage, a built-in bookcase for my den. The large one is along the 10' wall,
and the smaller matching one is on the opposite wall in the little alcove next to the closet.

Vi Nicholson ~ We live in a Bowen model
and love it. However, we made a slight but
very useful and attractive modification in our
kitchen.
At my height, (less than 5' tall) I found using
the "over the range" microwave felt unsafe
and not easy to use. To solve this problem,
we hired a contractor to remove the micro-
wave and replace it with an attractive and
more efficient vented hood. We then had our
contractor install attractive glass tile above
the range top in order to fill the wall area ex-
posed, when the microwave was re-
moved. To have a usa-
ble and up to date mi-
crowave, we ordered a
new island cabinet that
accommodates a two
foot drawer type micro-
wave. The contractor was able to remove the granite
counter top from above the old cabinet, and re-install it
on the new island cabinet. We are very pleased with the
functionality and look of our remodeled kitchen.
