Spring weather is in full swing and plants in full bloom. Remember to take a break while doing yard work to
check out the Retreat Library selections. Now that we don't need a boat (due to all of the rain) to get to the Re-
treat Library, we hope to see you soon. May is a month of celebrating and remembering our mothers. Happy
Mother's Day with hopes for a fabulous May.

If you are looking for something read or a gift for mom, the Friends of the Roseville Public Library will hold

their seasonal book sale. On Saturday, May 13 from 10-3 in the Meeting Rooms in front of the Riley Li-
brary. If you are looking for gently used books for summer vacations, children's books for the grandchildren
(children's books are $.50/each) plan to stop by to check out their affordable inventory. The Friends of the Library support many Roseville
Public Library programs and resources.

Daniel Suarez’s latest space-tech thriller is the second book in the Delta-V series.
Critical Mass is a great Science Fiction novel about a group of pioneering astropreneurs and the challenges they must
overcome to rescue colleagues stranded at a distant asteroid. The challenge starts a new space race in which Earth’s
climate crisis could hang in the balance. Book one in the series is Delta-V. Daniel Suarez has long had an interest in
IT systems and creative writing. His biography shares his interest in high-tech and sci-fi thrillers focused on technolo-
gy-driven change.
