Christine Bish, our June guest speaker, is running for Congress in
District 6 (Sacramento). She is a Constitutional Conservative who not
only appeals to Republicans, she has also been getting a lot of support
from Independents.
Among some of the issues that she wants to support are drugs, taxes,
homeless, age appropriate books, and crime. She has first-hand
knowledge of the Fentanyl crises.
We will have Assemblymen Joe Patterson at our August Meeting.

Club Crafters
Whatever your craft or hobby is, we would like to invite you to join
us. We meet every Tuesday at 10 AM in the library. Dig out those
unfinished projects and come have a cup of coffee with us, and I
guarantee lots of good conversation and laughs. We would like to invite through the hole (three points).

perhaps entice you to join our group.
We also accept yarn and needlework items you no longer want. If you

Club Trekkers
As July is normally a hotter month we conduct hikes at higher elevations week of play will give everyone the opportunity to join the Fourth of

We meet the 2nd and 4th Fridays at 10:00 a.m. in The Library. If you

Club Veterans
Last month's meeting was most interesting. CO Greg Cerlenko along
with Vets member Dain Leadmon put on an 80th Remembrance display
for the membership during our regular monthly meeting. Many of the
items survived the D-Day landing at Omaha Beach on June 6th,
1944. Dain added several scale model aircraft from his personal
collection that flew on that day as well, to top off the display.
You do not have to be a Veteran to be a member of this group! Just have
an interest in history and want to be part of helping those veterans in
need. Anyone who is a member of our community can join or attend a
meeting to see what we are about. Enjoy a cup of Joe and a donut on us.
Cornhole
Cornhole (also known regionally as sack toss, or bags) is a lawn game in
which players or teams take turns throwing fabric bean bags at a raised,
angled board with a hole in its far end. The goal of the game is to score
points by either landing a bag on the board (one point) or putting a bag

use the funds for prizes at the end of the evening.
Weather dictates if we play inside in the Wellness Room or outside

play. We have had great turnout so in order to give everyone a chance to
play, we ask that initially you only sign up for your first choice. Check
back a couple days later and if there is still room available for the other
day, please go ahead and signup.

Cribbage
MONDAYS & WEDNESDAYS @ 10AM CRIBBAGE IS PLAYED
AT THE CLUB UNTIL NOON
Come play CRIBBAGE with us every Monday and/or Wednesday from
10am to noon. We play two and three handed and partners with four.
Cards are drawn to see who plays with whom. If you have not played in
a long time, no problem, we will go slow and reacquaint you to the
