Although I have many Hobbies, I found some model ship kits that had been sitting around more
than a couple of years. During the Pandemic I decided to
build them. Now I’ve built about a dozen ships. Anything
from Battleships to Destroyer Escorts. Plus American,
British, Japanese, and German ships. While building them
is tedious I also learn about the history of each individual ship and their part in the Second World
War. I’m an avid reader of the stories about the people serving in WWII.

I even had a Teacher in Middle School that was a WASP Pilot. She had her own Biplane. I served
in the US Air Force active duty for 8 years. Then I retired from McClellan AFB after 32 years still
working as a civilian for the Air Force. I’ve been in the Sacramento area since 1968. My wife Jane
was my first blind date. We have been married 55 years. Her father served 30 years in the US Air
Force.
