Residents Say

'Play Ball'!

Five of your fellow Club residents play softball in the Sun City
Senior Softball League.
This year the League received applications from over 60 play-
ers in Sun City and nearby neighborhoods and was able to put
together five teams of 14 players each. Teams play every Mon-
day and Wednesday at 10am at
Mahany Fields near the Library (9am starting in June).
Games are umpired, and scores are kept by scorekeepers who
also operate the scoreboard for players and fans to see. Games
run 7 innings (about 2 hours) unless there is a tie, in which an
8th inning is played.

At the end of the season, teams play playoff games and all players and spouses/partners are invited to a banquet at the Sun City Clubhouse.

Both the North (closest to Pleasant Grove) and the South fields have bleachers and grassy areas for chairs to watch the games. We invite you to
