various bands.

Sound Healing for Emotional Transformation
Monday, June 24th from 2:30 p.m. – 3:45 p.m.
Sound healing can help with mental clarity,
stress relief, and even physical ailments.
Research has shown it has the potential to
relieve muscle and bone pain, lower blood
pressure, improve circulation, and strengthen
the immune system. Our instructor will be
using her own bowls and her current set are
all tuned to 432hz, which is referred to as a
frequency of love, DNA repair, and cleansing of the chakras and the
auric fields. This class is not movement- based but rather a meditative
and introspective experience. Class time will be spent on the floor;
however, you may remain seated if you prefer. Wear comfortable
clothes, yoga mats provided and you are encouraged to bring a quilt or

Aspects of Memoir Writing Workshop with Judie Rae -
Rescheduled
Thursday, June 27th at 10am
Everyone has a tale to tell. How to tell it is the secret. In
this class we will explore writing a memoir incorporating
elements of fiction writing: sense of place, description,
dialogue, characterization, conflict, point of view. Participants will
explore the emotional truths that live in their memories and focus on
ways to bring these stories to life. Please bring writing materials to class.
Judie Rae Bio - Judie Rae is the author of the novel, The Haunting of
Walter Rabinowitz. Her poems have appeared in many literary journals
and anthologies, among them Nimrod, Wisconsin Review, Mudfish. She
is the author of three chapbooks, The Weight of Roses, Howling Down
the Moon, and Family Matters. Recently she co-edited a poetry
anthology, Old Age and Y oung Hearts, published by Kelsay Books. Her
essays have appeared in Tahoe Quarterly, The Sacramento Bee, as well
as online at San Francisco’s NPR station, KQED. Judie taught English
classes for twenty-seven years at various colleges throughout California.

Murder Mystery Show ~
Summer Wedding Theme

A live Murder Mystery Show here at
The Retreat. Bring a beverage of
your choice and submerse yourself into the show as actors perform
around you.
It’s a Summer Wedding - “Till Death do us Part”. The wedding bells
aren’t ringing for this not-so-happy couple when a member of the
wedding party is murdered! With a raging bridezilla and an unenthused
groom on the scene, it may be happily never after in this nuptial
nightmare. Trade clues and help the hapless couple figure out whodunnit
so they can say I do before the wedding hour passes them by!
The bride and groom aren’t picky, so you can wear just about whatever
you’d like. In fact, we encourage you to wear your own wedding dress or
the most ridiculous wedding attire you can come up with. It’ll make their
special day that much more special, so long as they actually get the
chance to walk down the aisle!

in Roseville. Sides will be Baked Beans, Rolls, Salads, and Dessert.
