Our Blue Marble
The environment gives us life,
While we are killing it like a knife.
Lots of trees give us shade,
While we are cutting them with a blade
We leave the taps open which is worst,
But the water quenches our thirst.
We give it a poison drug,
While it gives us a lovely hug.
It gives us knowledge and wisdom,
So we ought to give it its freedom.
Give it life, freedom and protection,
It will wash out all our tension.
The Earth is holding us carefully,
Then why can’t we help it wisely.
