Page 28 - Haringey SuDS DESIGN & EVALUATION
P. 28
Haringey have historically created and
Local SuDS requirements
adopted SuDs systems as a part of the Public
Open Space or Local Highway Authority
assets, examples can be seen throughout the
borough and vary from ponds, to basins, to
swales, to permeable paving.
Adoption of SuDs
Other than on the Council’s own Highways
projects Haringey will not adopt SuDS.
Applicants should therefore put in place
arrangements for maintenance and end of life
replacement of SuDS. Details must be
provided to the LLFA to add to their asset
register.
There are other Risk Management Authorities
such as Thames Water or TFL who may be
willing to consider adoption of SuDS. Early
engagement is required to ensure their
requirements can be achieved.
