Chapter 12 – Emergency Protocols 247
allow the MMS to remain on the burn it will aggravate
the burn and the healing will take longer than usual.
Step 3
q Depending upon the severity of the burn, the pain
normally will stop within five minutes. If the pain is not
completely gone at the end of five minutes, you can
apply a second amount of unactivated MMS, but only
after rinsing off the first application. Follow the exact
procedure as outlined in Steps 1 and 2 above.
Notes
In the case of severe burns, if you have applied 2
applications of unactivated MMS and the pain continues,
you can then apply unactivated MMS every one-half hour
for up to two hours. (But remember, each application must
be rinsed off after five minutes.)
If the pain still continues after this two hour period, you
can apply unactivated MMS two more times, but this time,
one hour apart. Each of these applications should be
according to Steps 1 and 2 above.
In general, the pain will be gone within four hours, but
if not, you can continue the process outlined in Steps 1 and
2 every four hours.
After the pain subsides, if you have access to fresh Aloe
vera, this can help aid healing a burn. Slice open (length-
wise) one leaf of the fresh plant and apply the fresh gel to
the burn area. This can be repeated as often as necessary.
Caution! Remember, never leave unactivated MMS
on your skin for longer than five minutes, always
rinse it off with cool water.
