BALL DRUM
Necessary material: a round cheese box;
a stick (you can buy it in craft stores, in
bazaars or pick it up in the woods) or a
kitchen spoon (with a round handle);
adhesive decorative paper; two wooden
balls (or the like, for example, pieces of
making bracelets or large buttons); thick
thread.
Instructions:
• Open the box. Where there is the cut, make a hole in the middle to put the
stick. Secure it with adhesive tape.
• Make two holes in the sides of the box and pass the thread (about 60cm, we
will cut the excess). Tie it to the stick so that it does not move from one side
to the other.
• Close the box.
• Tie the wooden balls (or similar) to the ends of the thread. Look at the final
length, they have to be on top of the box to make noise when turning the
drum.
• Decorate the drum. We have lined it with decorative adhesive paper, but you
can paint it with paint, cover it with rubber bands, ...
• ¡Done!
