MEN’S LEAGUE

TOURNAMENT RULES

1. Members and Sponsored Guests of Bocaire Country Club that have a
current USGA handicap are eligible to play in tournaments.
2. Tournament entrants must sign-up online. Groups are established at
3PM on the day preceding tournament. If you are unable to participate,
call the Golf Shop to cancel. Failure to cancel may subject you to
disciplinary action.

3. Any Member or Sponsored Guest who withdraws from a tournament on
the day of the tournament for any reason except illness may be penalized
including not being allowed to play in the next two tournaments.

4. On the morning of a tournament any Member or Sponsored Guest who
had not previously signed-up for the tournament may stand by on first-
come, first-serve basis, in class or near class. He will be allowed to enter
the tournament in the event of a cancellation or on such other basis as
the Tournament Committee directs.

5. Members and Sponsored Guests are requested to enter match play or
qualifying medal play tournaments only if they are prepared to compete
in all rounds of the tournament. Failure to do so will limit your chances
to compete in future tournaments.
6. Matches must be completed on the designated dates set by the
Tournament Committee. Failure to do so will result in forfeiture.

7. Entrants are required to register with the Starter at least fifteen (15)
minutes prior to the scheduled starting time.
8. Players are responsible for reporting the results of each round of golf
promptly after each match or round of play. The scorecard shall be
signed by the scorer and attested by another player in the playing group.

9. The handicap used in any tournament is the current handicap in effect as
of the registration deadline date.
