Introducing The
2023-2024 Men’s League at
Bocaire Country Club

Welcome Back Everyone!

It is my pleasure to introduce this year’s Men’s League Schedule.
For the experienced old hands, you will see many of the familiar
formats and tournaments that were so successful last year. We
took a very good set of golf events and tweaked them based on
what we learned. Our objective is to promote fellowship among
our members while offering opportunities for serious
competition. Highlights include:

A good mixture of 10 “friendly” competitions in a variety of team
formats. These four and two man events are a split of staff
select and pick your own partner(s). For the staff select events
our golf professionals will mix us up from our normal playing
partners and build the teams.

Four Majors, two featuring individual stroke play and two
partner play. The President’s Cup will kickoff the serious
competition events in early December. In a major change, the
Two-Man Challenge, our last Major of the season, moves from a
multiple month event to a three-day event.

The Calcutta and the Member-Guest Events have been moved
later in the schedule to ensure we will be able to use our newly
renovated clubhouse to support the accompanying social
events and showcase our club to our guests.

Our final event is the Tournament of Champions. Throughout
the season, players will accrue points from their placement in
individual and team events. The Player of the Year will be
decided by this one-day event.
