The Municipal Plan provides the City of Palmerston’s strategies from 2015 – 2020.

This key area covers ac vi es of Council devoted to the wellbeing of our community, including arts and culture, libraries, health and safety, sports and recrea on, parks and gardens and family. In par cular:

1.2 Safe Communi es - We are commi ed to ensuring the safety and security of our community;

1.4 Recrea on-Wearecommi edtoproviding quality recrea on and spor ng facili es, parks, gardens, playgrounds and open spaces for the bene t of our community.
ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT
Strategies, programs, support and advocacy ini a ves related to the economic vitality of our city are found in this area, including city planning, support for local businesses and tourism, and government liaison. In par cular:
