 parsippany celebrates indian independence day for the first time

ndian American Seniors As- sociation of Morris County organized patriotic celebra-
tion for the third time in Parsip- pany, Mayor Michael Soriano agreed to organize the event first time and was part of the biggest celebration.
Mr. Rajnibhai patel (presi- dent of iasaMc) and Vish- nubhai patel worked in association with various temples and other asso- ciations of parsippany to ensure that the event was a huge success.
Indian people flocked and graced the event holding Indi- an flag in their hands. Brightly colored saris fluttered in the
breeze and traditional music filled the air as India’s 74th In- dependence Day and Flag Rais- ing Ceremony was celebrated.
Joining Mayor Michael So- riano was the Indian-American Seniors Association of Morris County with all its volunteers.
The Cultural Program was managed by Vishnu Patel from Sruhadam Entertainment and Shweta Pandse from her Swara- li Music group entertained ev- eryone with patriotic songs.
Indian National Anthem by Madhulika Swami and Patriot- ic Dance by Chinmayi Parikh from NrittaMayi Dance Cre- ations. Patriotic song by Vidya Dave. Riddhi Patel for Help from township.
The event was organized by Indian American Seniors Associ- ation of Morris County and Var- ious temples of Parsippany and Parsippany Indian association.
Close to 5,000 people watched this year Independence Day celebration virtually.
