Secretary and Correspondent’s Message

Message

I am extremely happy to note that SBOA School and Junior College is part of the

International School Awards Programme (ISA) by British Council for the second term. It is
the need of the hour to equip the new generation to suit global environment. I am

confident that the activities will enable students to incorporate international dimensions to

their learning through which they light the spark for ‘continuous learning’. In the present

digital world children have ample opportunities to explore across the planet and these types
of programmes will enhance their digital skill . Doing the project would have given

opportunity for the students to interact and exchange views and opinion with their fellow

counterpart from other countries. This would have broadened their knowledge horizon.

SBOA School and Junior College has been involving in projects on Scinertia, Mezzo Expo,

Teeny Weeny Realm etc. to name a few which I am sure has broadened their social

consciousness and equipped them to be at par with the global student community. The
children’s talents are nurtured from beginning and I am sure the ISA programme will be

another mile stone.
