In 1997, Mr. Chen won Third Prize in
crafts category at the 2nd Da Dun Fine
Arts Exhibition of Taichung City. In 2000,
he won a Special Award at the 5th Asia
Art and Craft Exhibition in Japan. In
2006, he participated in the Modern
Ceramics Invitational Exhibition, R.O.C.
and in 2008 joined the Invitational
Exhibition of Ceramic Art-Burning by
Firewood, held by Presidential Office Art
Gallery. In 2008, he was honored with
the Award "Taiwan Handicraft Master."
