中興大學文學碩士、逢甲大學文學博士。
現任南投縣政府文化局局長、臺中市書法
協會榮譽理事長、中興大學中文系專任助
理教授。著有《徐渭書法藝術之研究》、
《章草書法研究》並發表書法及文學論述
50餘篇。曾獲全省美展永久免審查、全
國美術展第一名、中山文藝獎、中興文藝
獎、中國文藝獎章。曾任大墩美展、全省
美展、全國美術展評審委員。

Mr. Lin holds a master's degree in literature from
National Chung Hsing University and a Doctor of
Literature Ph.D. from Feng Chia University. He is
currently director of the Culture Affairs Bureau of
Nantou County, honorary chairman of the Taichung
Chinese Calligraphy Association, and a contracted
assistant professor at National Chung Hsing
University's Department of Chinese. He published
more than 50 studies, such as "A Study of Xu Wei's
Calligraphy," "A Study of Zhang Cao Calligraphy"and
other calligraphy and literature research. He won
permanent eligibility for the Taiwan Province Fine Arts
Exhibition, First Prize at the National Art Exhibition,
R.O.C., Sun Yat-Sen Academic and Cultural
Foundation's Award, Zhong-Xing Literature and Arts
Award, and the Chinese Literary Art Award. He has
been assigned as a jury member at the Da Dun Fine
Arts Exhibition of Taichung City, the Taiwan Provincial
Fine Arts Exhibition, and National Art Exhibition,
R.O.C..
