                  Yu, Min-Zhen
                  Ms. Yu graduated from the Chiayi Teachers College of Language
                  Education. Her works won Third Prize at the Taiwan Provincial Fine
                  Arts Exhibition for both the High School and Collage groups in the
                  chinese painting category. She also received an Award of Merit at
                  the Taiwan Provincial Civil Officers Art Exhibition and was shortlisted
                  at the 38th Taiwan Provincial Fine Arts Exhibition. In 1979, she was
                  voted a Taiwan Outstanding Educator in Special Education. In 1990,
                  Yunlin County recognized her contributions by granting her another
                  Outstanding Educators in Special Education Award. To date, she
                  has held seven solo exhibitions in Taichung City and Yunlin County,
                  and participated in several joint Cross Strait Exhibitions. She has
                  published numerous books, including: one art album of her works,
                  a book based on her research of renowned artist Zhang Da-Qian, a
                  children’s art album, a book about creativity. She has also published
                  four books about classic water ink painting, including landscapes,
                  insects and animals, and four popular chinese ink painting objects-
                  plums, orchids and chrysanthemums, bamboo, and radiant flowers.
                  She currently works in art education. Seared 8 years as the leader
                  of the volunteering docents at the National Taiwan Museum of Fine
                  Arts.
