 Employment opportunities will also be affected and it will be difficult for people to get jobs, so

financial support from the government to the sector is very important to help them. With the

implementation of the MCO for measures to curb the spread of this epidemic has restricted traders

from continuing their business operations and this could lead to an economic recession

 To help the people, the government has restructured and rescheduled EPF payments to employees or

exemption of employers' contributions to the human resource development fund (HRDF) or

deferment of income tax payments. Many workers have lost their jobs and they have lost their

          livelihoods.

 The largest sectors and sub-sectors in the informal economy are often affected by covid-19 and

related measures to ensure physical distance. The informal economy is dominated by microeconomic

units, including self -account workers who are more vulnerable to shocks and to better assess

employee vulnerability or their job uncertainty, it is important to note that new business models with

non -standard employment relationships, platforms and show economics, have exacerbated this

problem, with an increasing lack of social protection.
