METHOD TO OVERCOME INFLATION AND UNEMPLOYMENT
Malaysia cautiously reopened many sectors such as education and tourism, it created new jobs
for the tens of thousands of people who had been laid off.
The Minister of Malaysia, implement expansionary policy by increasing the prevailing assist
provided to the tiny and medium-sized enterprises (SMES). To date, the govt, has provided
RM13.8 billion worth of wage subsidy via a wage subsidy program with aims to profit 4.8 million
workers and employers from small and medium-sized enterprises
The government is working on a scheme to help employers who are financially harmed by the
pandemic, with the goal of ensuring that businesses can continue to operate while simultaneously
preventing job losses. To handle the salary subsidies, SOCSO was paid a total of RM19.1 billion.
Malaysians earning RM4,000 per month are eligible for the subsidy, which is given to each
employee for six months and is based on the size of their company's employees
The Malaysian minister gives voucher consumption to the citizens rather than giving cash. The
target of this voucher consumption is to revive economic activities amid the coronavirus
outbreak by encouraging consumer spending on local businesses.
